Chris Knight, a.k.a. "Jaymz", began playing guitar at the age of 18. Never having had a lesson, he taught himself by listening to, and reproducing, riffs from his favorite band...METALLICA! While playing recreationally for 6 to 7 years, he was invited by his brother Kevin to join his band as lead guitarist and back-up vocalist.

The band went through a few lineup changes and with the departure of the lead singer and ryhtym guitarist, Chris assumed the role of lead vocals and switched between rythym and lead guitars, essentially becoming the frontman of the 3-piece cover band known as TALUS. With the addition of Chris Brightwell in October of 2003, as lead guitarist, Chris was able to focus on his passion, vocals and rythym guitar.

Chris played a large role in pushing the band to change from playing metal covers to doing what it does best as a METALLICA tribute.

Chris' aggresive style of ryhtym guitar and his ability to replicate the voice of METALLICA frontman James Hetfield, make him a crucial part of DAMAGE INC's METALLICA sound.
